Financial Projects Accountant
The Financial Projects Accountant is a contract role and will assist in advancing special projects in support of departmental objectives. Responsibilities will include ad hoc support, analysis and processing of special project work and provide accurate and meaningful information to project leaders who report to senior management.
* Work with the finance team on special projects in improving processes, processing data and performing reconciliations as required.
* Develop a good understanding of the insurance systems and finance processes operated.
* Liaise with external and internal partners as required.
* Assist with the development and preparation of high quality management information.
* Strive for efficiencies in the finance function and add value to the business whenever possible.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
* Degree qualified.
* Recently qualified or part-qualified
* Understanding of insurance accounting desirable.
* Experience in working with spreadsheets to an intermediate level.
* Excellent verbal and written skills and the confidence and ability to communicate comfortably with senior personnel within the group |
