Funds Solicitor Fund House Dublin 2
Within its European office located in Dublin 2, my client is expanding its Legal and Compliance team to create an opening for an investment funds lawyer. You will be primarily responsible for assisting General Counsel with all legal matters for my clients Irish entities, supporting the existing compliance function with regulatory matters, as well as documenting the contractual arrangements of Irish entities with clients and vendors (both internal and external)
Key Responsibilities
Drafting and negotiating various client service agreements (including administration, depositary, and terms of business agreements) with clients/ their counsel and supporting the business with the legal documentation relating to new client fund launches
Advising on regulatory changes impacting the business and assisting with implementation of same from a legal and regulatory compliance perspective
Supporting Sales, Client Service, Operations and Solutions Teams (including product development and special project work)
Providing support to compliance team in Ireland
Liaising with external legal advisers
Assisting with drafting, implementation and maintenance of legal and regulatory documents, policies and procedures
Support the roll out and development of legal/ regulatory and compliance specific training programmes
Provide assistance and support to the business in relation to ad hoc legal, regulatory and compliance queries
Other duties and ad-hoc legal and compliance projects / tasks as required
You will report to the General Counsel’s Irish entities, work within a team environment alongside members of the Irish Compliance team and work closely with the US-based attorneys for the Investment Manager Services Division
The attorney will also be required to work in a team environment with legal and compliance team in the London office, outside counsel, and members of other organizational groups within the group companies ‑ worldwide e.g. internal audit, risk, corporate accounting, IT/ information security |
