Head of Transfer Agency, EMEA

A leading Financial Services company based Dublin are seeking Senior Vice President to join their Transfer Agency team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Transfer Agency function in Dublin and Luxembourg and ensuring that all client deliverables are met and system and process improvements are implemented effectively. The Senior Manager will have responsibility for a team of circa 150 people in both local and remote locations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that appropriate operational processes and controls are effective in the area
• Represent EMEA TA in all relevant management forums in order to cover service performance, global strategy, business growth and development of the function
• Ensure that all client and Regulatory deliveries are met to agreed service level agreements and standards
• Ensure that communication with clients, both internal and external, Regulator, offshore sites and external vendors is highly effective
• Governance, oversight and review of service centres is best class
• Ensure that offshore and onshore teams are trained to a high standard are kept up to date with regulatory and accounting standard changes
• Ensure feedback is given to the offshore team in the form of calls/issue logs to ensure accuracy and timeliness levels are performed to the highest standards and quickly resolve issues
• Leading and delivering on Strategic, Regulatory and client requested projects is successful and delivery is seamless into the operation in line with corporate policy
• Lead and deliver efficiency improvements for the function including the resultant training for the teams impacted
• Develop strong, pro-active relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project deliverables are met to the highest standards and on time
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and drive new developments and enhancements forward for the team
• Keep up to date on regulatory changes, ensuring the detailed requirements are thoroughly assessed and implemented across the function
• Establish and maintain very strong working relationships with internal Product, Compliance, Risk and Audit functions
• Oversee the accurate and timely production of all deliveries and reporting
• Investigate and resolve complex client or regulatory queries in a timely manner
• Provide input and thought leadership for the annual budgeting process, including monthly review of actual performance against budget throughout the period and actions arising

Key Skills/Qualifications:
• Significant experience in the Funds Management industry and strong knowledge in Transfer Agency is essential
• Project Management skills and experience
• Previous experience of AML and KYC is essential
• Qualification in Project Management or another relevant field is an advantage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
