About my Client
My client, a privately owned and operated Financial Services business, provides unit-linked life insurance product to affluent families and high-net-worth individuals. They are a company with an excellent reputation, strong balance sheet, and with an extremely capable and tenured Senior Management team who have well defined plans for team and company growth, especially over the next three years through both organic growth and acquisition.
About the Role
Your role will be to provide a risk-based approach to the oversight of third party Asset Managers to ensure that they are acting in client’s best interest, and to ensure they are making appropriate investments according to set agreements and adhering to regulatory obligations (PRIIPs, EMIR, Solvency II) and disclosures.
You will provide reporting on the business’ Investments, including liquidity, pricing, performance, expenses etc. You will also perform regulatory and management reporting, including quarterly reporting to the Investment Oversight Committee.
You will project manage the due diligence process for onboarding new asset managers as partners in the business.
About You
You will have experience in risk and compliance framework management from a management company or asset manager, ideally from a delegate vendor oversight perspective.
Knowledge of PRIIPs, Solvency II and EMIR regulations is sought after.
An understanding of investment accounting - unrealised and realised gains and losses, P&L etc would be very helpful, as would good knowledge of a broad range of financial instruments including derivatives, private equity, real estate, structured debt etc.
Communication skills are paramount and fluency in Italian would be a major plus, but it is not essential. |
